Interventions

I am a professional that helps families get their loved ones into Treatment through planning and executing interventions for individuals struggling with addictions. The Goal for me is simple, deliver the best care tailored to that specific family for what is best suited for them no matter where that individual is on their journey.

  1. Assessment: I assess the situation to understand the nature of the problem and the individual’s behavior. This includes evaluating the impact on family and loved ones.
  2. Planning: I work with the family or support network to develop a structured intervention plan. This plan outlines the approach, key points to communicate, and the treatment options available.
  3. Facilitation: I lead the intervention meeting, where family members and friends confront the individual about their behavior in a supportive and non-confrontational manner. The interventionist helps to keep the discussion focused and productive.
  4. Support: I provide emotional support to both the person being intervened upon and their loved ones. They also offer guidance on what to do if the individual agrees to seek help or if they react negatively.
  5. Follow-Up: After the intervention, I do assist with the transition to treatment, ensuring that the individual follows through with the agreed-upon plan and providing ongoing support if needed.
